Who Am I?

I'm still thinking 'when' not 'if' I'll make my big break into the art world.
Contacting galleries is daunting and makes me nervous thinking curators have such utter control over your life. If every gallery in this city turned me down I would be devastated but carry on and keep calm. Another city, more possibilities.

What up?

Hello good people.

I am slowly putting photos up of my work. I;m good on my word. They are just leaning agaisnt my wall in my apartment. I have a few Basement Artists shows coming up and in May I will have a few pieces up at Oh So Good cafe on York street downtown.

This is another painting in the same series of dreams I had been having. This one is called Wolf Parade. It is 30x40 acrylic on canvas and this is one of my favourites.

This piece is called Bonez and this was part of a series of paintings I did in my last year of school. I had been having strange dreams about my deceased dog so I decided to paint what I saw in my dreams.

I promise to post more photos of my art really soon. The good old laptop is in the shop and I'm still figuring out the kinks of keeping a blog. So don't despair my lovely peeps. The art will grace the site soon enough.

Again just a reminder, Basement Artists show Saturday, January 16th, 2010 7 to 10:00pm tickets through me are $10.00 and $15.00 at the door. Where is the show? Well it is at Babylon nightclub on Bank St. Hope to see a lot of ppl there.
