Down with Christmas music

OMG!!! Can the stores please stop blasting Christmas music every freaking minute of the day!!! This is causing my ears to bleed and major damage to my self being. It is bad enough to be carrying shopping bags the weigh a ton while you slowly melt in your winter jacket. I love Christmas and this will be my first one not in my old house in Westboro. It feels kinda strange but the show must go on.

I will be posting more photos of my art so get really excited because Basement Artist is just around the corner. If you do not know what Basement Artists is don't worry people I still love you and will explain later. Right now I am much to drained for typing any longer. Cheers.

All in a days work for a woman

I have a question for the girls. How many of you out there have roommates who are guys? Now do your roommates ever pick up after themselves? And do they ever clean the house/apartment without you asking them to?

The reason I am asking is because I know your pain. I live with three guys, one including my boyfriend. Since I moved out into our apartment in April I have become the maid of the house and sadly I don't get paid. Why do I clean up after those pigs? Well for one, I hate living like an animal and two I believe the way your home looks in the inside is a reflection of one's self. So I wash the dishes, vacuum the the house, I clean the washroom I wipe down tables and counter tops because they can't be bothered to. The washroom is the biggest deal to me. Let's face it three guys using the shower, just imagine all the fucking hairs they leave behind and don't bother to rince away after! How fucking nasty is that!! Nasty I tells you. You may think I am a bitch and you are right. In the words of Tina Fey, "Bitches get things done." I am a huge bitch when it comes to the tidiness of my home. Someones got to care about things.

Arg, what a total waste of a day. I am beginning to hate driving, not becuase it is winter but my boyfriend and I have different times we need to be at work. So I drive him to Bayshore then i have to kill some time before I go to work. Queenways traffic is shitty!

I did however buy the first 2 books by Charlaine Harris (Tru Blood) so that should make my work hours more bearable. I hope to get some ideas for future painting ideas.

Frig, it is cold in Ottawa. Boo.

I don't really have much to say at this time of the day. I should be creating new pieces for the next Basement Artist show next month but I am totally procrastinating. I hope this blog won't cause anyone to snooze off and regret clicking on this site!! *gasp*
